1946 – Born in Hoktemberian, Armenia.
1968 – Graduated from the State Yerevan Fine Art College after P. Terlemezyan.
1975 – Graduated from the State Yerevan Fine Art and Theater Institute.
Since 1983 – Took part in Republican and International Exhibitions.
Since 1983 – Member of the USSR Artists’ Union.
Jora Hayraoetyan’s paintings are kept in the many private art collections and museums throughout Armenia, Russia, USA, Canada, Syria, Lebanon and the UAE.
Since 1995 – Full time faculty member at the State Academy of Fine Art as a painting teacher.
Since 2010 – Professor at the State Academy of Fine Art.
