Eva Akopian

Eva Akopian is an Armenian contemporary artist whose work explores the invisible architectures of light, perception, and existence. Through a distinctive light-responsive painting technique, her artworks transform under changing illumination, revealing shifting colors, forms, and spatial effects that offer multiple visual experiences within a single composition.

Working in oil, acrylic, and mixed media, Akopian creates layered abstract works inspired by the relationship between light, consciousness, and the unseen structures of reality. Influenced by quantum physics, geometry, and astronomy, she bridges scientific inquiry and poetic reflection, evoking both the depths of human perception and the vastness of cosmic space.

A graduate of the Stavropol Regional Art College’s Department of Design and Architectural Environment, Akopian has exhibited internationally, including in Paris and Moscow. Her work is held in private collections across Europe, the United States, and Russia. Through her evolving visual language, she continues to investigate the connections between light, consciousness, and the hidden dimensions of existence.
